Library Resources
- Teacher Art Resource Library - a special collection of teacher art books, videos, and posters is housed in the Library closet (where the videos are)
- Books on Artists - housed in the regular student library: see sections 921 (biographies), 700 (collections of artists), and 745.5 (arts & crafts)
Art Room
- The Art Room (Room F1) is available for use by classroom teachers when Youth in Arts sessions are not being held.

Kiln and Ceramics Storage Shed
- Both the kiln and the ceramics storage shed are located behind the girls/boys bathrooms, in between A and D wings. (View the photos of the facilities and equipment here.) Only trained teachers and artists can use the kiln. Please gain permission from Principal Marilyn Clark prior to use.

- The Children's Museum of Indianapolis - great curriculum integrating the arts, science, and language arts. Check out "Kinetosaurs" for grade 3-5 (click on "site map at the bottom of the page) and "Fireworks of Glass" for grades K-5, which has activities for non-readers, early readers, and readers and a FABULOUS Unit of Study about glass artist Dale Chihuly.

MARIN COUNTY- Marin Museum of Contemporary Art - Located in Novato
- Marin County Art Galleries - a listing of all the art galleries in the region
- Falkirk Cultural Center - gallery exhibits change regularly; "Learning to Look," an arts education program offered to the schools is run by Falkirk.
- Art League of Northern California - Located in Novato
- Marin Arts Council - supports the arts in Marin
- Youth in Arts - provides art programs to the schools and provides coordination of the STARS program at Neil Cummins School.
EAST BAY
- Oakland Museum - Offers a wide range of tours, classes, and workshops for school groups about art, natural sciences, and history. Can also bring workshops to the school. Offers teachers curriculum materials online and for purchase. Click here for more information about the Education Department.
- MOCHA: Museum of Children's Art
- Located in Oakland. Free admission to the gallery; charge for field

Where to Get Art Supplies Locally at a Discount!
- Blick Art Materials in Berkeley, Oakland, and San Francisco offers a 10% discount card to
educators. Largest art supply store of any of the stores listed here.
- Doodlebug is an art studio and store in downtown San Anselmo. They offer a 10% discount for teachers.
- East Bay Depot for Creative Reuse in Berkeley: teachers get a 10% discount off their already ridiculously low prices.
- F.E.S. Truck - FREE recyclable arts & crafts materials are available at their warehouse in Novato. The truck no longer visits schools.
- Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts in Corte Madera offers a 15% discount off to teachers of everything in the store, including their small section of arts & crafts supplies. Bring your ID or paystub to sign up for an educator's discount card.
- Riley Street Art Supply is an art store in downtown San Rafael. Demo art lessons (on painting, clay, etc) are offered on Saturdays.
Riley Streets offers public school teachers a 20% instructor
discount. This discount can be used for personal purchases or school
